Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8". In 1928, Exhibit Supply Company released the 64-card baseball set featuring numerous future Hall of Famers with the black-and-white images printed with a blue hue.The 1928 set including 24 new players and 36 more photographs, with numerous examples being identical to the previous year's issuance. Along with a posed player image on the front, his name, team and league are printed in white at the bottom of the image along with the "Ex. Sup. Co. CHGO. - Made in U.S.A." in the lower corner. Most backs appears blank though some have the customary postcard indicia. This set also has many of the misspellings present with previous releases.
George Ernest Uhle (1898 - 1985) was an American Major League Baseball pitcher. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he began his playing career with his hometown Cleveland Indians. Career highlights include being a two time AL wins leader and one time World Series champion. Autograph is bold and excellently placed to not overly impede the image.
