Item Description
8.5x11" letter on "National Newspaper Service" letterhead, John F. Dille being president. Dille is best known for bringing Buck Rogers to comics. Typed letter is dated Aug. 24, 1931 and is addressed to George Sahr of Kenosha, WI. Letter deals with Mr. Sahr negotiating for the Kenosha News newspaper to run the Buck Rogers daily strip. Dille also mentions a proposed Buck Rogers book within the year. Signed in blue fountain pen ink. Folded as mailed with light handling wear. Exc. Comes with original mailing envelope with Aug. 24, 1931 Chicago postmark and stamp remnant. Sliced open at right-hand side. As mailed, envelope has obvious handling wear and shows age. VG. Comes with Hake's COA.
