Item Description
3.5x5.5” each. All c. 1900-1910. First is four barbers in front of shop. Unused. Lt. wear. Fine. Second is humorous scene with text on window reading “Barber Shop/Wgo's Next.” Five of the gentlemen posing in front of shop hold large blades. Nice “Pay Car Scrap” tobacco sign and baseball sign are seen to left side of men. Card back has men identified by name. Lt. wear. Fine. Last is inside shop with 3 elaborate barber chairs and 5 men, two hold copies of “Police Gazette.” Full rack of shaving mugs appears behind black man in suspenders and tie. Exc. An interesting lot. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
