20x25”. c. 1900-1910. Heavy paper. Great illustration. Shows map of entire continent. Text reads “Commonwealth of Australia/Travel Across Australia By The Trans-Australian Railway/Go By Train-Save Days.” Time table appears at upper left side. Lower portion text notes “The Train Comprises Sumptuous Two Berth First Class And Four Berth Second Class Sleeping Compartments, Dining Car, Lounge Car With Piano, Electric Light, Showers, Etc./The Excellent Restaurant Service Is Repeatedly The Subject Of Favorable Comment By Travelers.” The text goes on to list additional amenities and conveniences. Traces of fold lines visible under close inspection. Four metal grommets appear in corners as made. Scattered insect damage and other margin wear. Almost all would mat out. Displays VF.
