18.5x25.5”. 8x20” image area. Interesting pose of black baseball team in uniform standing in front of a building with broken windows and a long pile of debris on the ground. Players’ uniforms each have “WE” (White Elephants) on their sleeves. An image of a white elephant appears on left breast as well as each cap. A young boy sits crossed-legs and crossed-arms at bottom center with ball gloves in front of him. Players are identified as: Robt. Lacy, Joe Reed, Joe Tucker, R. Cooper, Wm. Howard, Theo Anderson, R. Carey, Chas. Banks-mascot, Geo. Anderson-Mgr., Wm. Jones, M. Wilson, J. Gross, R. Wilson, Hugh Smith, E. Hill, Fred Hill. Photo credit “Mile High Photo Co./Denver.” Numerous creases appear mostly in upper portion. One runs between the first and second players on the left side. None affect players’ images/names.
