12x15.5x2-5/8” deep original wood box holds elaborately designed 10.75x 14.25” hardcover photo album. Silk embroidered covers are decorated with flowers and flying crane accents with left side held together with silk string. 24 stiff paper pages have high quality photographs glued in place on fronts. Most are 6-7/8x8.5”, two fold out to 15-7/8” wide and third one is 7x24”. Joe DiMaggio is clearly shown in 10 photos. Other players include Dom DiMaggio and Billy Martin. Photos include group arriving at air field, motorcade with huge crowd, dinner, sightseeing, on stage in large auditorium and team photo consisting of players from Yankees, Boston, Braves, Pittsburgh, Giants and Seals. Three fold-out photos include 2 taken from stands showing players lined up on field and playing. Original box has lt. aging. Album is bright and N. Mint. Extremely limited issue and highest quality.
