Christy Walsh was the first sports super agent and a close friend of Babe Ruth and other sports figures. He taught Ruth how to conserve money and helped insure Ruth’s financial well-being in the process. His ghost writing syndicate included writers such as Ford Frick, Damon Runyon, and Gene Fowler. Walsh would become sports director of the 1939-40 New York World's Fair and in the early 1950's authored “Baseball’s Greatest Lineup” and published an All-American sports calendar. Book is well-written and funny and the original art piece is superb. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
