Item Description
Both have World Wide Photos ink stamp on back with dates and numerous notes in both pencil and ink. 1938 photo is 6x8.25" showing him in civilian clothes with his wife Eleanor. 1939 photo is 6.25x8" showing him smiling and talking with manager Joe McCarthy with both men in NY Yankees uniforms. Both of their uniforms have Baseball Centennial 1839-1939 patch on left shoulders. Photos have a few lt. handling creases and lt. age rippling and are missing most of paper captions on back, remaining caption on one and notes on others are both in Spanish. VG/Fine. Great images. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
