Item Description
7.75" wide, 8.75" tall c. 1930s. Held designed wind vanes, hinges, hooks, firescreens, etc. for the Grind Stone Hill Forge in Fairfield, Connecticut. Most likely this doorstop was produced by the company as well. Quite possibly repainted at some point. Paint is VG and casting is Fine. Wonderful for display and use. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
