Item Description
8.5x11" sheet of white unlined paper has caricature of Kennedy including
shoulders up. Done in pencil and signed by artist Oscar Berger, one of
America's most distinguished caricature artists. His work appeared in Life, The
New York Times, New York Herald Tribune and Le Figaro. Caricature is drawn
w/prominent JFK features humorously pointed out. Berger has signed in pencil.
At some later time Kennedy was presented w/this page and he inscribed in black
ink "With Best Wishes From-John Kennedy" in bottom left corner. Signature is
bold and clean. "Best Wishes" overlaps pencil drawing of his lapel. Page has
some lt. handling wear, very ft. discoloration along some lines of caricature
but remains clean and bright. Exc. Comes w/letter of authenticity from
Hake's.
