Dust wrapper has lt. wear at top and bottom edges, book itself is Exc. 18x24" double archival mat has opening revealing wonderful India ink and watercolor original art with 8.25x14" image area which was used for double page illustration in book. Art shows K-13 facing three spies with weapons from Planet X including pretty girl, one-eyed alien and robot. Art is bright and NM. Illustrator Sammis McLean (1947-1989) accomplished quite a bit in his short life. He co-produced several films for Sesame Street, illustrated children's books including three Sesame Street titles. Art is extremely well executed and highly detailed with wonderful color. Nice to have original art to go with matching book.
