Item Description
11.5x41.5" wood frame has glass over wonderful panoramic scene for event held August 5-12, 1916 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Photo is by Bretzman. Scene shows both teams sitting in foreground with one man proudly holding a baby, large crowd in grandstands behind them with several people holding Boston and New York pennants. Game was between Pittsburgh and Boston teams. Photo has lt. handling wear with bit of light silvering across top edge. Overall Fine but displays great as professionally framed. A superb and sharp image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
