Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8" postally unused postcard has wonderful photo showing 18 member team in uniform with "Campy" in back row second from right. Roy went on to make his debut in the Major Leagues in 1948 with the Dodgers. Photo also includes Lazaro Salazar. Front margin edges have lt. silvering just visible in reflective light and corners have a few lt. creases and corner tips are a bit rounded. VG overall but a sharp clear team photo image. Wonderful early career item for the noted Brooklyn Dodgers catcher. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
