Item Description
See item #1300. All are c. 1930s-early '40s. Sizes range from 2.25x4" to 8x10" with Dihigo prominently featured on all. First two have ink stamp on back "Fotografio Novoa". Smallest photo shows him wearing three piece suit holding cigar leaning against car with man in suit with his arm around Dihigo. Second photo shows him wearing three piece suit and holding hat surrounded by men at head of table. Next photo shows him in chair in foreground in crowded bar and last photo shows him wearing jacket and t-shirt standing next to well-dressed men at head of table in outdoor setting. Photos have some light aging with trace of dust soil here and there with a few light corner creases. Overall group is Fine/VF. Nice photos of the noted Cuban player in off the field settings. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
