Item Description
Lot of three oversized 12.5x16.5” lobby cards for the Spanish release in Mexico of the 1953 film "La Guerra De Los Mundos (War Of The Worlds)". Film was produced by George Pal and directed by Byron Haskin and was the first film adaptation of H. G. Wells’ classic sci-fi story. Film was released in Mexico by Cinema International Corp. Great and colorful cards feature classic illustration of large three fingered Martian hand reaching from space towards cringing human couple. Spaceships attack city at right. Each card has photo image insert showing scenes from film, all three showing the iconic Martian spaceships. Lt. handling/aging but VF/Exc. overall.
