Item Description
8.5x10.75" slick paper card has 31 members wearing St. Louis Cardinals uniforms along with facsimile signatures surrounding image and text at bottom with all names along with image at left and right of Cardinal perched on baseball bat set against baseball. Musial is seated at left end of front row.  A few barely noticeable tiny creases around edges, just visible in reflected light. Fine. The 1953 Cardinals won 83 games and lost 71, finishing third in the NL. Musial led the team with 30 home runs and was inducted into the HOF in 1969. Red Schoendienst played in MLB from 1945-63 and later went on to become a manager once his playing career was finished. Slaughter was a multiple time All-Star finishing his career with an even .300 batting average and 1,304 RBI's. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
