Item Description
8x10" vintage glossy shows Kelly in Dodgers pinstripe uniform. Photo is signed at lower left in ballpoint pen "George L. Kelly-1932-." He has also added "Brooklyn 1932 Brooklyn" in ballpoint pen on reverse. Reverse also has ink stamp "From The Estate Of George L. 'Highpockets' Kelly." Lt. handling wear. Fine. Kelly (1895-1984) played professional baseball between 1915 and 1932 with teams including the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, and the Chicago Cubs. He played his last professional season in 1932 with the Dodgers and was elected to the Baseball HOF in 1973. His career stats include a .297 batting average with 148 home runs and 1,020 RBIs. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
