Issued by Carstairs Whiskey copyright 1953 Advertising Arts Corp. 11x15.5" overall consisting of backing board with metal grommets for hanging and images of Carstairs mascot seal balancing ball with text "The Perfectly Balanced Blend". Top has cord with attached lead pencil in metal capsule just above 10-5/8x10-7/8" extensive calendar pad. Cover sheet has wood grain accent with image of batter and sheets cover all games between opening day April 13 through potential World Series seventh game at end of season. Last seven sheets have calendar pages Oct. 1953 - April 1954 with graphics of players by artist Clem Boddington. Players shown include Walter Johnson, Art Devlin, Eddie Collins, Bobby Lowe. Header card has lt. wear around edges and first few pages are a bit worn. Fine. Remainder is Exc./NM. A nicely designed concept.
