7x11" glossy shows four members in uniform holding bats. Photo has ink stamp from "International News Photos" and second ink stamp for "The Evening Bulletin Reference Library." Attached paper caption dated March 18, 1937 has title "Shock Troops Of The Gas House Bang" noting players are left to right Pepper Martin, and HOF'ers Leo Durocher, Joe "Ducky" Medwick, and John Mize. Photo is from the St. Louis Cardinals' Daytona Beach, FL training camp. Lt. handling wear mostly only visible in reflected light. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
