Item Description
6.5x7-7/8" glossy photos with five well dressed players standing in front of large stadium sign "No Game To-Day". Each has signed on bottom portion of their image in fountain pen ink. Left to right: Cy Blanton, Lloyd Waner, Paul Waner, Bill Swift, John Welch. Photo has hairline age crazing on front only visible in reflected light with a few lt. handling creases. Reverse side has lt. glue stains in four corners from scrapbook removal. Overall Fine. The Pirates finished fourth in the National League in 1936. Brothers Lloyd and Paul Waner are both members of the HOF. A classy photo. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
