Item Description
See previous items #1986-1989. 14-5/8x19-1/8" thin artboard featured detailed pencil art featured in "Analog" magazine's April, 1988 issue. This illustration was for a P.M. Ferguson story entitled "I Ain't No Hero" and shows a man wrestling with the controls of a futuristic ship. Of note, the pendent around his neck bears Jankus's initial signature. Art is signed by Jankus with story title and Ferguson's name at bottom. Art has a 5.25" long slice to surface in upper left corner, but this doesn't detract greatly from overall appearance, which remains Exc. Second is 10x15.25" thin artboard features highly detailed pen and ink art featured in "Amazing Stories" #549, Nov., 1989 issue for a story by Kristine Karol Rusch titled "Fugue." The art shows a wild-haired man standing over a woman w/knife in hand. The shadow of a demonic woman appears behind him on the blood-spattered wall. Art is signed by Jankus with story title and Rusch's name at bottom. NM. Both come w/reading issues of the magazines art appeared in.
