Item Description
From same set as #1139. Card front reads "Base Ball Baró C-32." Slight margin trim but image is bold. Baro played in the Cuban and Negro Leagues between 1913 and 1930 including for the Cuban Stars East and West and the Kansas City Monarchs. He ranks fifth all-time in Cuban League career batting average with an average of .311. In 1945 he was elected to the Cuban Baseball HOF. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
