4x5" original glossy on Kodak paper w/great image of a Paige prominently wearing his Indians uniform on the ball field w/crowd of spectators in the bkg. Reverse has notations including inked text that includes date of 1948 and reference to the Indians winning the World Series that year as well as "From Snapshot To Slide #1/Master 478." On July 9, 1948 Paige became the oldest man ever to debut in the Major Leagues and had great success that year with a 6-1 regular season record and an appearance in the World Series which the Indians won in six games.
