Item Description
7x11x2.25" deep illustrated box contains 4.5" long hard plastic, spring-loaded "Planet Gun" w/three 3" dia. plastic rotors/saucers. Made in England by J. & L. Randall Ltd./Merit w/permission of Eagle Comics, the publisher of the British Dan Dare sci-fi stories. 1950s. Box shows nice image of spacesuit-clad Dare using this gun w/pair of aliens watching him on viewscreen. Box has moderate aging and lt. edge/corner tip wear but box remains tight and Fine/VF. Gun has raised "Dan Dare Space Gun" name on either side w/rocketship design and grips have "Inter-Planetary Space Fleet" text w/space graphics. Aside from slight oxidation to metal spring inside gun, set is NM on original cardboard insert.
