Item Description
Vintage 8x10-3/8" photo shows Lombardi crossing home plate in Cincinnati Reds uniform. Lombardi was a MLB catcher for the Brooklyn Robins, the Cincinnati Reds, the Boston Braves and the New York Giants during a Hall of Fame career that spanned 17 years, from 1931 to 1947. Lombardi played for Cincinnati 1932-1942. Photo has been signed vertically along Lombardi's image in black ink. Photo shows scattered handling/margin wear w/some creases and is Fine overall. Signature area remains Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
