8x10" thin board w/fully painted art which is signed at lower right "Jorge S." Wonderful action image of Mays in his pre-MLB days wearing an Almendares Scorpions jersey and leaping into the air to rob the batter of a home run. He is backed right up against the wall noting "450'" but unfazed by this, the ball is securely in his glove. Top left has title "Willie Mays Outfielder" and at top right is a Scorpions pennant. Exc. This piece captures Mays incredible fielding prowess which helped him earn 12 Gold Glove awards and secure his place in the HOF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
