Item Description
This unique piece is a wonderful personal item for Saturnino Orestes Armas (Arrieta) Minoso aka "Minnie." 4x5.75" w/32 numbered pages. Issued Feb. 15, 1946 this predates his Major League debut which came three years later, April 19, 1949. His photo is attached to page 2 while page 3 features his ink signature along with personal information including his profession "Ballplayer." The additional pages are almost completely filled with official inked info (in the hand of a Government official) and/or ink stamps noting destinations including several states in the US with travel dates through 1956. Noticeable wear along the spine with some missing bits of material, inside front and back covers have gaps but all pages remain complete intact. Additional scattered cover wear and some aging to the contents including staple rust. Cover Good, contents VG-Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
