25.5x37.5" frame contains poster for 1999 comedy stage show put on by The Umbilical Brothers - David Collins and Shane Dundas. Testimonial text at top of poster describes the show as "'Screamingly Funny! 'Tom And Jerry' As Directed By Quentin Tarantino'." Poster has been signed in green felt tip pen by both, underneath "The Umbies" handwritten name and w/small added self-portrait sketches below their signatures. Additionally, they have remargued this poster, w/an additional starburst drawn around starburst w/text reading "Doors & Bar Open At 7PM" w/large "Wow!!!" text and drawn arrow pointing. A pistol has been drawn over the phone number to call for more info. Exc. as framed. Comes w/large 30.25x37.25" frame that contains original mixed media painting on Strathmore illustration board by pop culture artist Mark Todd that shows The Umbilical Bothers performing, one wearing gas mask, an oven mitt and a rabbit hand puppet; the other peering over wall w/lightbulb above his head. Art has been matted to 20.5x28" and is signed "M. Todd" at lower left. Exc. This art was created specifically for an ad in "The New Yorker" to promote The Umbilical Brothers' newest show. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
