Item Description
3.25x5.5" generic postcard postmarked Dec. 4, 1951 with a young Richard Merkin's address in ink on the obverse and the inscription "Best Wishes Pee Wee Reese" on the reverse. Pee Wee Reese was a MLB shortstop for 18 seasons with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. He was a 10 time All-Star and two time World Series Champion (1955 & 1959) and was inducted into the Baseball HOF in 1984. The postcard shows some scattered light wear and aging. VF-Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
