Item Description
Lot of five 12x15" vellum sheets, each bearing nicely executed mixed media original art for proposed 1950s Admiral Refrigerators premium kit. First sheet shows packaging for kit, w/central image of refrigerator and hand-lettered text noting "Contains - Walking Moon Man, V2 Rocket Launcher, Rocket In Space Toy, Interstellar Rocket, Flying Comet Rocket, Space Transport, Badges, Insignia, Etc." and features images of some of the items listed, including spaceships and Moon Man robot. Each has been neatly labeled in pencil. Additional pencil text below image notes "Six Page Folder - - Corner Cut To Resemble Box - - One Toy To Each Page." This sheet has coloring on back for display effect. Next sheet features three different "Model Rockets." Third sheet shows "Blow Toy" that shows rocket hurtling through space. Next sheet shows "Blow Rocket Launcher" and shows toy is use. Last sheet shows "Walking Moon Man" robot and is nicely rendered to imitate shininess of metal. Sheets have lt. aging but are o/w clean and Exc. Great art and design. Something truly unique for the space collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
