Item Description
7x9-7/8 high quality image w/overall dimensions measuring to 11x14", which has been hand signed by former MLB catcher Mickey Owen during the first four seasons of his Major League career while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. Personalized signature reads "To My Best Pal, Steve, From Mickey Owen".  Mickey Owen spent a total of 13 seasons in the Major Leagues, beginning his career in St. Louis before moving on to Brooklyn from 1941-45 before playing three seasons with the Chicago Cubs during the late 1940s and his final year with the Boston Red Sox. Mickey was a four time All-Star catcher and finished fourth in the MVP voting in the National League in 1942. Lt., even corner wear evident, bold and striking color image displays superbly. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
