Item Description
3.25x5.5" generic postcard has inked name/address from a young Richard Merkin. Blank opposite has been signed in black ink pen by Baseball HOF member Stan Musial (1920-2013), who spent 22 seasons in MLB, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1941-1944 and 1946-1963. Widely considered to be one of the greatest and most consistent hitters in baseball history, Musial was elected to the HOF in 1969. Postcard has  Nov. 19, 1947 St. Louis, MO postmark. Card has lt., even aging and scattered handling wear and soiling from mailing. Fine overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
