Item Description
3.25x5.5" generic postcard has inked name/address and blank opposite has been signed in blue ink by Dom DiMaggio (1917-2009), aka "The Little Professor" who played his entire 11-year baseball career for the Boston Red Sox (1940-1953). DiMaggio was the youngest of three brothers who each became MLB center fielders, the others being Joe and Vince. DiMaggio has added "Best Wishes" inscription above his name. Postcard has  July 31, 1947 Boston, MA postmark. Card has lt., even aging and shows scattered handling/mailing wear w/some inking on signed side. Fine overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
