Item Description
18x24" sheet w/mixed media original art for King Crimson concert poster advertising concert supporting the band's fifth studio album, 1973's  Larks' Tongues In Aspic. Poster design recreates the iconic album cover for the band's first studio release, In The Court Of The Crimson King. That art by Barry Godber was titled 21st Century Schzoid Man and it is faithfully recreated here by an artist unknown to us (artist has signed in pencil at lower right, but it is not fully legible), who has handwritten notation at bottom center noting art as "Artist's Proof For K.C. Concert/Dr. Dallas Based On Album Cover By Barry Godber." Poster has hand-lettered text noting "Special Appearance By Steeleye Span." Sheet shows obvious and heavy wear, w/heavy vertical creases at center and sizable V-shaped piece missing from top margin. Just Good.
