Item Description
Offered here is the production artwork that Playmates used to create the retail boxes that all of the Wacky Action Toilet Taxi toys were packaged in. Production art consists of 15xx20" illustration board w/three separate sheets mounted to it w/tape. Two of these sheets feature mixed media for combined bkg. image area of approx. 11x13" that has been hand-colored. Acetate overlay w/printed line art which has attached vellum overlay; both attached along top w/tape. Back of illustration board has glossy printed label of Joe King, "The 'Toon Guy'." Some scattered wear but acetate sheet w/printed line art and hand-colored portions remain clean and Exc. Rarely did original art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles card or box art ever leave the confines of Playmates headquarters after the artists the company hired were done w/their work. Sourced directly from the artist who created it.
