Item Description
8x10" glossy showing both in dugout wearing St. Louis Cardinals uniforms with Baseball Centennial patches on shoulders. Both have signed in black fine point pen on their jerseys. Trace of lt. aging just visible in reflected light, otherwise clean, glossy and VF. The Cardinals had a win-loss record of 92-61 and finished second in the NL in 1939. Mickey Owen was a four time All-Star selection between 1941 and 1944. His career batting average was .255 with 929 hits and 378 RBIs. Warneke pitched for the NL in the first All-Star game in 1933 and also hit the first triple and scored the first NL run in All-Star game history. He had a career win-loss record of 192-121 with an earned run average of 3.18 with 1,140 strikeouts. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
