Item Description
3.5x4-3/8" glossy with Mattingly in uniform standing on field with grandstands in bkg. has fountain pen signature at lower left. First name is a bit light due to ink flow. c.1933. Overall VF. Mattingly played a total of eight seasons in the Minor Leagues between 1927 and 1934 including playing AA ball for Baltimore in 1933-1934. He pitched eight games for the Brooklyn Robins in 1931 which included six strike-outs. His career ERA is 4.06. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
