Item Description
3.5x4.5" glossy photo with Arlett in uniform holding glove on field with grandstands in bkg. c.1931, the only year he played for the Philadelphia Phillies. Photo is boldly signed in fountain ink in center on his uniform. Trace of lt. aging. VF. Arlett played 19 seasons between 1918 and 1937, mostly with the Oakland Oaks and the Baltimore Orioles. 1929 was his best season with 39 home runs and a .374 batting average, driving in 189 runs. His career average is .341 including 432 home runs and 1,786 RBIs. He is the all-time Minor League home run king in the US. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
