Item Description
6x8" glossy photo has nice action shot of Fletcher leaping in air with ball in glove on ballfield. Bold felt tip pen signature is just beneath center. Reverse side has applied paper label with typewritten text noting photo was taken at San Bernardino, CA spring training camp March 12. Upper right side of photo has 2.5" hairline as printed by photographer, corner tips have a few lt. creases mostly just visible in reflected light. VF. Fletcher played 12 seasons in the Major Leagues and was with the Pirates from 1939 to 1943. He had a .271 career batting average with 79 home runs and 616 RBIs in 1,415 games. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
