11x17" sheet w/original marker art of "Doors" band name logo measures 14" wide and has been signed in blue felt tip pen by poster artist Mark Arminski. Poster was printed in 1995 to commemorate a concert The Doors performed at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in 1966. Name art has some scattered age spots and handling wear. Fine. Comes w/two mechanical separations used in printing the poster, stiff artboard measures 15x20" and features black image of poster design w/applied "Doors" name logo and attached red acetate sheet. Other piece is clear acetate sheet w/numerous repeated gecko paste-overs, top center one being colored in as it appeared solid on final poster (others were printed faintly). This has also been signed by Arminksi in blue felt tip pen at bottom center. Scattered aging/wear. VF. Last piece is 20x26" artist's proof that features final printed design of poster designed by Arminski, who has signed in blue felt tip pen at bottom. Poster design features photo image of the classic rock band w/faint gecko images in bkg., top center has solid gecko image. NM. Unique lot.
