Item Description
Wood frame w/Plexiglas over archival mat reveals 13.75x20" image area in India ink and watercolor titled "Jack Davis - The Good Life" on engraved brass title plate on mat underneath art. c. 1980s. Barbara Walters is at news microphone in center throwing papers surrounded by Nancy Reagan, who waves American flag as dog tries to grab plate. Others include Billy Martin in Yankees uniform, Sally Ride holding Space Shuttle model, Rob Reiner as "Meathead" from "All In The Family" giving thumbs up, Star Wars characters including an Ewok, a Jabba the Hut-like character, Salacious Crumb, Admiral Ackbar and another alien. Buck Rogers zaps Davy Crockett through his coonskin cap w/Daisy gun in the foreground. Upper right has two students and football player rushing to college. Art has been signed in ink by Jack Davis at lower right. Comes w/4x6" color photo of the artist in his studio holding this original. Image area is bright and NM. Framed and ready for display.
